The Robbins range of hardwood maple floors have created a strong interest within the UK market. Robbins Flooring is a long established timber flooring manufacturer renowned for high quality precision engineered sports floors.

The floorings have a multi-layered design which comprises of a beautiful long-lasting top layer of North American Maple. The optional load distribution layer is a plywood sub-surface with cross veneers to improve absorption and deflection. Supporting these two layers is a specially treated stable plywood sleeper fitted with patented EPDM "bio pads". This totally new design brought the end to "dead spots" which are areas on floors that give "bad bounce"

New systems have been developed to meet the German DIN standard and the BS 7044 pt 4 Standards and qualified as "Impact Energy Absorbing". Building on the success of the partnership arrangements with the biggest clubs in the North American basketball League, high quality Maple floors are available at competitive prices to Scandinavian Beech floors. Recent innovations include Long uniform length boards for ease of installation and more uniform performance and the Air Channel Star XL a top range anchored system which eliminates "dead spots" for the same cost as a conventional "floating" floor.
