Robbins - the originator of sports surfaces combining the advantages of anchored flooring with extremely resilient performance created air channel star for the precise balance of floor properties desired for today's multi-sports maple flooring applications.

Air Channel Star employs a low-profile "Wide-body" sleeper assembly for excellent dimensional stability. Precision drilled at the factory and easy to install, the sleepers sit atop Robbins' patented 7/16" (11mm) EPDM Bio-Pads and are fastened to the substrate using our Posi-anchor system.

This results in a floor with no dead spots and unsurpassed uniformity and dimensional stability. Designed to create just the right environment for athletes and owners, it's made to have a very limited impact on the earth's environment. While using far less subfloor materials than is normal with many high-performance maple floor systems, air channel star provides enhanced overall stability and system strength. A channel of air between the wide-body sleepers creates a safeguard against moist conditions.
