This was a refurbish package upgrading a “tired” traditional block/tile floor with Pulastic 2000 overlaid onto an Instacoustic SP22 undercarriage. 

The Insta under-carriage system was laid directly over the existing surface with the undercarriage being then laser eveled and packed to give a completely level surface.  

The seamless Pulastic 2000 system was then installed in Capri Blue over the under-carriage, followed by the application of the court markings.

Pulastic 2000 consists of a granular rubber base mat and a 2mm thick liquid applied polyurethane top surface.  All the work was completed within the 3 week shut down period at this Local Authority Leisure Centre. 

The new floor meets the BS7044 part 4 “Impact Energy Absorbing” standard and is multi-marked for the most popular sports.
